Sheffield Steiner Group (SSG) is a community of people who have a common interest in the investigations into the spiritual nature of human beings and the wider universe undertaken by Rudolf Steiner about 100 years ago.
These discoveries can radically change our view of the meaning and purpose of evolution as well help us understand our day to day lives better. They have also led to many practical initiatives in education, farming, medicine, banking and social care worldwide. Approximately 10,000 institutions based on the ideas of Rudolf Steiner operate worldwide.
Sheffield Steiner Group runs many regular groups and events for those interested, including study groups, talks, walks, festival gatherings and social meetings. Anyone is welcome to come along to any event; there is no obligation to believe or do anything. Everything in freedom, even if that freedom calls people to different paths.
SSG is funded by the charity Tintagel House (Sheffield) Ltd, who own this website and who between 1969 and 2005 ran the Merlin Theatre & Tintagel House site just around the corner.
