FINDING OUR VOICE – Spoken Word Course

Ways of enriching our spoken voice through the medium of recitingpoetry, individually and in groups.
This fortnightly course will end with a performance – a dramatic portrayal of the soul’s journey, from before birth to after death, and every age in between. It is hoped there will also be live music as well. So, the course is not only about finding our voice but also about finding meaning in the changes we have to go through in life. The first session will be a free ‘taster’, to see if it’s the kind of thing for you. Please bring a short poem to work on.
Saturdays, fortnightly, beginning October 4th 2.30-4pm
Led by Robert Chamberlain of The Threshold Voice Ensemble. For many years, Robert was the director of the Merlin Players in Sheffield.
